    Good machine but has drawbacks

    It is very nice machine, well made, great screen, good keyboard and excellent trackpad. However, it is running hot, even without heavy duty applications, just doing office work on the web, it is hot. Not lot of ports for the money, have to use the dongles which easy to lose. No sd card reader. Not able to charge via thunderbolt.

    Feature rich, High end components, Couldn't be happier

    Drop dead gorgeous AMOLED screen - UHD+ and 3840 x 2400 resolution. I take and edit lots of photos. To do that correctly, the screen quality is essential. The 2 TB of SSDs will more than take care of my storage needs. Photo editing can use lots of RAM, and this one comes loaded with 16 GB total installed memory. My current mouse connects via 2.0. In order to use it, I needed to use the included USB -C 4 in 1 hub. I would most likely use the touch-pad while on the go, but at home, the mouse rules. Now I have a good excuse to upgrade my mouse. I'm not a gamer, so I can't really comment on that aspect of this Aero 16. Also, I haven't used it enough to comment on battery life, but so far, so good.

    Only worth it at clearance prices!

    Good color and contrast on the display but the design needs improvement. The port situation might work on an Ultrabook but on a workstation laptop it's way more annoying than you'd expect. Also the battery life is terrible until you disable a certain background service in Windows that the Gigabyte control center uses. I was only getting an 1 1/2 hrs before disabling that service, after I would get about 4 1/2hrs. Still not great but closer to what you'd expect given the specs. Another thing is if your sensitive to PWM displays this laptop will be a bad choice for you. It unfortunately flickers at all brightness levels leading to headaches and eye strain for some people.

    Overall nice laptop for the money

    It's a great laptop and is very quick!! I hate that it doesn't have more ports!!! It only has the one Thunderbolt 4 port. The hub that comes with it is very cheaply made, to me. Once it is plugged in, you have an HDMI port, USB-C, and one USB. The hub is very sensitive and often my monitor plugged into the HDMI port flickers or turns off. The uppder left hand corner of the keyboard is always HOT which I assume has to do with the port. The fan is quite loud when it is on. Also, several of my keys are "sticky" and it is not because I have spilled something on it. They were this way when I got the unit. To be specific, it is the shift and tab keys along with others in the same area.
